Welcome to The Epilepsy Foundation

The website of the Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria, Australia. Teigan and her mum Lucy featured in 2009 Christmas Appeal

Our site contains information on all aspects of epilepsy, for people living with epilepsy or if you involved in the care or development of a person who is living with epilepsy.

Our hope is that all Australians living with epilepsy, as well as the medical profession, allied health workers, principals, teachers, employers and the wider community will find this website to be an informative and valuable resource in their daily lives.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria is dedicated to providing high quality information, advice, support, training, counselling and practical assistance and advocacy on behalf of people with epilepsy. We welcome participants' to join the research register. We work to raise awareness of epilepsy in the community to reduce the stigma and create a more welcoming and inclusive society.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria is largely funded from private sources (79%), mainly philanthropic donations, if you would like to help you can Donate or you can support our work in other ways.

The Epilepsy Foundation is a member of Epilepsy Australia, the national coalition of state-based epilepsy associations and the leading consumer-led epilepsy body.
