How often do you hear of someone having a seizure and the crowd standing back because no-one knew how to give first aid in the situation? We expect that 10 percent of Australians will have a seizure at some point during their lifetime. By knowing how to give the correct first aid you could help to minimise possible injuries or even save the life of the person having the seizure.

Community education is a priority for the Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria whose ‘fair go for people with epilepsy’ campaign aims to break down stigma and discrimination.When you understand what to do when a seizure occurs, then your fear will not be so great.
